Fretwork with silk backing to hood also with dentil work to swan neck pediments.
Mahogany pillars to hood with brass capitals and quarter columns to rear.
Side windows to hood.
Cross banding to hood door and trunk door.
Long trunk door with round top.
Bracket feet.
Width at widest point 22" (Hood).
Dial :
Brass arch dial 15.75" x 11.5" with Strike/Silent feature in arch.
Silvered single sheet dial with high quality engraving including to winding holes.
Seconds and date features.
Good quality Branch style spandrels.
Branch and Flower style spandrels each side of Strike/Silent feature in arch.
Matching steel hour, minute and second hands.
Roman numerals.

John Anderson's town/village is engraved as Dunse, a little known town to the
west of Berwick on Tweed, which is now shown on maps as spelt Duns.
