Swan neck Mahogany case with satin wood stringing to hood, trunk door, trunk panel
and base.
Central finial to hood. (not shown).
Brass capped reeded columns to hood and original brass paterae.
Diamond shaped sound cut apertures and shaped rear splats to hood rear.
Long trunk door with semi circular top and reeded pillars to trunk sides.
Bracket feet.

Dial :
Painted arched dial 18" x 13" with well painted flowers and a bird in arch and flowers
in corners.
Matching diamond style steel hour and minute hands and matching second and
calendar hands.
Roman numerals and date aperture.
Dial maker's name stamped 'W&H' on dial and 'Walker & Hughes' on falseplate.

Born 1766 and died 15 September 1835, his known working dates are 1790 - 1835.
Married Elizabeth Scott (1764 - 1835).
His daughter erected a memorial to her father in Scoonie, Kirkyard:
